Elevator Pitch
BLOODLUST
In a dystopian future controlled by the corrupt E.N.A., conformity is survival. Childhood friends Emma and Abby are reunited under grim circumstances: Emma’s brother has disappeared, and Abby offers to help her find him.
Unbeknownst to Emma, Abby already knows the truth—her brother is dead. But Abby has an ulterior motive. She’s not just stringing Emma along on a hopeless search; she’s manipulating her, tempting her to embrace violent tendencies.
As the journey unfolds, Emma begins to unravel the deeper corruption of the E.N.A., but the true villain may be closer than she realizes. Abby’s intent is not only to expose Emma to violence, but to reshape her into something more dangerous, something more like Abby herself.
This is a deconstruction of the action genre, peeling back the layers of its tropes to reveal the moral complexities beneath. Like a puzzle with no heroes, Emma must decide whether to fight her instincts or embrace the darkness.
