ABOUT ME

The Beginning

    In the beginning, there was a woman, as kind as can be. She was pregnant with a boy, beyond wonder. The woman was 4 months pregnant and was in the hospital the baby was coming. The day was the 18th of February in the year 2008. After a long process and an emergency C section, a boy was born his name was Frantz Matador Jr. He was born less than a pound and clinging to life. As a premature baby, Frantz spent his time in a incubator for a little under a year before he was ready to take home. 

The Early Years

    In the developmental years of Frantz’s life his personality began to show, he was characterized as a independent person, very determined and most importantly, funny. In the early years Frantz was considered a bit of a goofball, often getting in trouble for messing around and not being serious. This was a constant problem throughout his life upuntill high school. 

Teen/Present Years

    Going into highschool Frantz began to cement his individuality. While he mantained his personality, he started diving into music becoming a cellist in major orchestral groups in brevard such as, BSYO (Brevard Symphony Youth Orchestra), BSA (Brevard String Academy) and renowned 2021 NOF (National Orchestra Festival) champions Eau Gallie High School chamber orchestra. He also started to find joy in choir and academics, and joined a church choir in Vero Beach and joined AICE, Dual Enrollment and Student Government Association. 

Film

    Frantz has been into film since his early years, however, he never thought to take a class about it until this year. He finds film very interesting. He’s always found cinematography interesting however, looking at movies and noticing the directors choices to invoke a feeling in the audience always captivated his curiosity. Frantz is happy to be in a film class this year and learn more about cinematography and how to incorporate cinematography into his own film he will make in the future.
